Priestfield Road / Prestonfield Road Street-Scaping Project
The Council’s initial proposals envisaged footway re-landscaping, street trees and roadway resurfacing in both streets. From a GPCC query, we are advised that strong local resistance to street trees along Priestfield Road has stripped it of project status. The case for priority resurfacing there as a priority within the current Road Asset budget is having to be reconsidered. The Prestonfield Road part of the project retains its priority and we are told it is likely to be revisited early in 2027.
